Just wanted to share a few of my guiding thoughts. 

• Every room should have a piece of artwork (even babies rooms!)
• Every home should have a little glamor, a little tranquility, and a place to put your feet up!
• A stylish room has layers of history, personality and interest woven together  
• color is not to be feared but used, well!
• A well-designed kitchen lets you create master pieces for dinner (even if its mac and cheese for my 6 yr old!)
• It is achievable to have a healthy home without extra cost and work. Just needs planning!
• A designer brings experience to a project, The family who lives there brings the personality!
• REMEMBER - decorating your home should be fun and exciting!
